This week, I’m thrilled to share my conversation with Dr. Robert Cialdini, AKA “The Godfather of Influence.”
Few people have shaped my perspective of marketing and persuasion as much as Dr. Cialdini. I’ve returned to his 1984 book “Influence” again and again. It’s among the books I most often recommend to other marketers.
Bob was incredibly generous with his knowledge and time, and I'm still processing all of the practical advice he shared.
He breaks down his seven principles of persuasion, exploring their applications for marketers and illustrating them with case studies including Coca-Cola, Bose, and Berkshire Hathaway.
