We launched AxonVR with a “company vision video.” Originally created as a fundraising tool, we posted this video publicly in conjunction with the launch of our website and the close of our $5.8M Seed Round.
We earned tens of thousands of views on our video by targeting forums and subreddits, and including the video in PR stories about AxonVR, like this story from GeekWire.
One of my key decisions was to allow other channels to repost the video. While this meant giving up some control of our content, the repostings earned millions of views across Facebook and YouTube. These videos drew customer inquiries for years after the video was originally posted.
